Fast Company names PharmaBox 2026 World Changing Ideas Award winner
The CMA CGM Foundation and Action Against Hunger's PharmaBox won the 2026 World Changing Ideas Awards from Fast Company. The solar-powered mobile pharmacy, built from a shipping container, stores essential medicines under controlled temperature and can provide care for 50,000 children suffering from acute malnutrition annually. Four units are deployed in the Central African Republic, Chad, Sudan and Madagascar, with additional units being shipped to Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
