Bluecore Secures Barge for Floating Nuclear Power System at Long Beach
Bluecore Energy is advancing its floating nuclear power concept by securing its first barge and formally engaging with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Coast Guard. The Long Beach-based company is developing a 10-megawatt maritime nuclear system designed for ports and coastal infrastructure. The project received $50 million in seed financing led by Silverton Partners, building on a $10 million pre-seed round announced in July.
