Oceania Cruises restructures R-class fleet with sales, refits and charters
Oceania Cruises is restructuring its R-class fleet of four ships built between 1998 and 2001. The Sirena will be sold to an undisclosed buyer with a farewell cruise on March 24, 2028. The Nautica will be refurbished and renamed Oceania Aurelia, with capacity reduced from 684 to under 400 passengers, departing October 15, 2027. The Regatta has been chartered to My Cruises' Explorations by Norwegian brand through August 17, 2026, under a two-year agreement. The Insignia remains in the fleet with deployments scheduled through November 2027.
