S.A.F.E. Structure Designs Completes Critical U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Infrastructure Project at Southwest Pass
SAFE Structure Designs announced the successful completion of a critical maritime navigation infrastructure project for the United States Coast Guard at Southwest Pass East Jetty, one of the primary entrances to the Mississippi River Delta. The project involved the design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of a 110-foot-long, 36-inch-diameter steel navigational tower supporting Aids to Navigation (ATON) equipment, including navigational reflectors and beacon lighting systems. The structure was engineered, fabricated, transported, and installed by SAFE Structure Designs' "River Rat Crew" division and driven deep below the seabed to provide long-term stability in the demanding Gulf Coast marine environment.
