Market research by cruise.co.uk found 15% of respondents favoured Iceland for eclipse cruising, with 45% attracted to eclipse cruises for witnessing a rare natural phenomenon. Virgin Voyages, Ponant, Cunard and expedition specialists including HX Expeditions, Lindblad Expeditions and Quark Expeditions have positioned ships across prime viewing locations from Scoresby Sund in Greenland to the Denmark Strait, with pricing ranging from £2,016 per person to exceeding $28,000 per passenger.
