Royal Caribbean Names Port Partners Small Business Accelerator Award Winner

Royal Caribbean Group announced Exit Glacier Greenhouses, pioneered by Sydney Singer, as the recipient of its inaugural Port Partners Small Business Accelerator Award. The company received a $20,000 grant to develop six crop-specific greenhouse modules with solar power in Seward, Alaska, aiming to expand production from 700 pounds of seasonal output to 4,000 pounds within a year. The 2026 program brought together 15 participants from South Central Alaska for workshops on business planning, financial management, marketing, and sustainable growth strategies.
