DaChan Bay Terminals Implements Single Customs Declaration for Transshipments
DaChan Bay Terminals has implemented a single customs declaration procedure for maritime transshipments, allowing exporters to submit a single declaration for cargo transiting through different customs jurisdictions in mainland China. The new system simplifies traditional clearance, and shipments from the Pearl River Delta are expected to save one to two days in transit time. The terminal, located at the mouth of the Pearl River, receives over 100 weekly barge services.
