Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP) took another important step in its energy transition plan by immediately replacing 40% of its light combustion vehicle fleet with 100% electric models.
According to information provided by the company, the delivery marks the completion of the first phase of modernization of the company's internal car fleet, with the incorporation of 10 electric vehicles.
The initiative reinforces Brasil Terminal Portuário's commitment to sustainability and contributes to the reduction of direct greenhouse gas emissions.
BTP is the newest port operating company on the right bank of the Port of Santos, with a multi-user terminal covering approximately 430,000 square meters and an current handling capacity of 1.5 million TEUs. The company has approximately 1,300 employees and generates thousands of indirect jobs.
