AIDA Cruises is reportedly cancelling most of the visits to the Greek island of Santorini scheduled for the AIDAblu in 2027.
Five of the six calls planned for the summer season will no longer go ahead, according to a report by Schiff und Kreuzfahrten.
The visits were part of a series of seven-night cruises to Greece, Turkey, Italy and Malta sailing roundtrip from Corfu.
Two of the affected sailings, which are set to depart on May 15 and May 29, 2027, will replace the visit to Santorini with a call to the Greek island of Kos.
The cruises scheduled to sail from Corfu on Aug. 21 and Sep. 11, 2027, were also adjusted and now include a visit to Rhodes, Greece.
In addition to their new calls, the affected cruises also feature visits to three other destinations: Kusadasi, Souda Bay and Piraeus.
With the changes, the AIDAblu is set to visit Santorini a single time during its 2027 summer season, as part of a cruise that sails from Corfu on Oct. 9, 2027.
In addition to the itineraries to the Aegean, the AIDAblu is also set to offer cruises to the Adriatic and the Eastern Mediterranean in 2027.
According to Schiff und Kreuzfahrten's report, AIDA will refund guests for all pre-purchased shore excursions for Santorini.
In a similar move, the German company had also cancelled most of its scheduled visits to the Greek destination in 2025 and 2026.
The calls to Santorini were also replaced with different destinations in Greece, including Rhodes and Kos.
