American Beauty is scheduled to enter Mississippi service in 2028 and American Rhapsody will begin sailing the Columbia and Snake rivers in 2029.

American Beauty and American Rhapsody represent the 29th and 30th members of American Cruise Lines' fleet, all from Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, Maryland.
American Beauty is scheduled to begin cruising on the Upper Mississippi in September 2028, operating eight-day cruises between St. Louis, Missouri and St. Paul, Minnesota. Toward the end of the season, American Beauty will switch to the company's new eight-day Gulf Coast cruises, which sail between New Orleans and Florida's Pensacola.
In 2029, American Rhapsody will enter service on nine-day Columbia and Snake rivers cruises between Portland, Oregon and Clarkston, Washington..
Both are part of the company's modern American riverboat series, which began in 2018 with American Song.
American Beauty and American Rhapsodyfollow American Encore (which debuted in May), American Anthem (coming in April 2027) and American Grace (in April 2028).
All accommodate 180 passengers in private balcony accommodations.
Another slightly smaller vessel, the 130-passenger American Ranger, is set to debut in September as American's third new ship this year. It will sail Hudson River fall foliage cruises, Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay cruises and Florida Gulf Coast and Keys cruises throughout the holiday season and into the New Year.
