Azamara Cruises is launching a new partnership with Premier Golf in 2028.
The collaboration will introduce 23 golf-focused sailings across Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Americas, pairing itineraries with access to popular golf courses, onboard programming and experiences ashore.
Asia will be a major focus, which aligns with the cruise line's newest deployment featuring itineraries throughout Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, according to a company statement.
"Golf and travel have always shared a spirit of discovery, and this partnership brings those passions together in a way that perfectly complements Azamara's approach to exploration," said Dondra Ritzenthaler, chief executive officer of Azamara.
"Working with Premier Golf allows us to offer guests unique access to some of the world's most celebrated golf destinations while enjoying the comfort of our intimate ships, longer stays in port, and deeper connections to the places we visit."
Some of the golf courses where guests will be able to play through the packages designed by Premier Golf available on select Azamara Golf Cruises include:
The program is designed for golf enthusiasts, PGA Professionals, golf clubs and affinity groups, Azamara noted.
A PGA Professional will be available onboard each cruise, and other golf-themed activities and social events will be offered, including welcome and farewell celebrations, golf-focused lectures, talks and educational sessions, golf experiences ashore, optional pre- and post-cruise resort golf packages and more.
To mark the occasion, a 10 percent commission for travel advisors is offered by Premier Golf on the value of their client's golf package.
A dedicated Premier Golf chapter will also be launched as part of the Azamara World Academy, providing advisors with specialized training to help them promote and sell golf-focused cruise vacations.
Additional details, sailing information and bookings will open in the coming months, Azamara added.
