The service is operated by PLC, a subsidiary of JSC Russian Post.
The project's starting point was established in April, when Global Ports, PLC, and October Railway (part of Russian Railways) signed a cooperation agreement to develop container rail services from Chinese cities to St. Petersburg.
The first express container train arrived at FCT with 62 containers loaded with imported goods and equipment. The total transit time was 16 days.
As part of this regular express service, trains run weekly along the route Hunchun (China), Kamyshovaya, Ussuriysk, and St. Petersburg.
