As part of a cybersecurity working group, the Talcahuano Regional Customs presented to the Biobío Regional Comptroller's Office the standards with which it safeguards its information and the measures that allow it to ensure the operational continuity of its systems.
During the session, the Service detailed how it has complied with current national regulations on the matter and shared its experience with cybersecurity incidents, along with how its different areas apply the regulatory framework in their daily work.
The presentation was given by professionals from the National Directorate and Talcahuano Customs, who presented the institutional work on the matter and contributed from regional technical experience.
The activity was chaired by the Regional Director of Talcahuano Customs, Katherine Ampuero, and the Regional Comptroller of Biobío, Carlos Basáez Valdebenito. It also had the participation of the Cybersecurity Officer of the Comptroller General of the Republic, Ricardo Arancibia Bustos, along with members of the Comptroller General's cabinet.
This instance initiates a new mode of joint work between both institutions, with the establishment of technical links and an invitation to continue coordination through future meetings on progress in the matter.
