The company Grieg Maritime Group took possession of the third of four ammonia-ready open-hatch vessels in the Star series commissioned from the CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited shipyard.
The new vessel Star Narvik joins its sister ships Star Norge and Star Nordkapp, consolidating a significant milestone for the growth and development of the shipping corporation's fleet.
The three new ships currently sail under the flag of Norway and have established the city of Bergen as their homeport for operations.
The Norwegian Maritime Authority publicly congratulated the firm for the expansion of its series of constructions and thanked the decision to maintain the Norwegian flag on these specialized vessels that promote sustainable maritime transport.
