The Yizheng Kangping shipyard delivered the container ship Ding Yuan Huan Yu to the Chinese shipping company Hainan Dingyuan Hengqi Shipping. The vessel has a capacity of 3,316 TEU.
According to Alphaliner, "the new vessel recently departed from the Yizheng shipyard en route to Laem Chabang (Thailand), where it will join the Thai-Chennai Express service, jointly operated by X-Press Feeders (TCX), Cosco (TCX), and Ocean Network Express (TE1). There it will replace the larger capacity container ship Zhong Gu Tai Yuan (4,636 TEU) and contribute to the homogenization of the fleet, which consists of three ships of more than 3,000 TEU, with one provided by each partner."
Furthermore, the Ding Yuan Huan Yu is characterized by "being powered by a J-ENG 6UEC50LSH-Eco-C2(SCR) series main engine that delivers 10,300 kW, allowing it to reach a service speed of approximately 15 knots."
This container ship has a length of 197 meters, a beam of 34.8 meters, and a deadweight of 57,700 tons.
