Royal T Shipyards announced a new milestone for the Gadus 5900 series, after the vessel Hav Fles, the second in the series being built for Navigare Shipping & Logistics, arrived in Kampen for the next phase of outfitting work at the shipyard.
Under clear blue skies, the vessel advanced across the Eiland bridge towards Kampen, while being observed by a delegation from the Faroe Islands aboard the saloon boat Veerman van Kampen, who shared food and drinks on the upper deck.
The Dutch shipyard Royal T Shipyards was assisted by Groot Ship Design in naval architecture and engineering work.
The arrival once again highlights the strong cooperation between Navigare Shipping & Logistics and Royal T Shipyards as the shipyard continues to build this innovative series of self-unloading dry cargo vessels with diesel-electric propulsion.
"We look forward to the next construction milestones and welcoming Hav Fles into service later this year," Royal T Shipyards communicated.
