The National Port System Administration of Manzanillo held the awards ceremony for the winners of the Children's Drawing Contest during a ceremony on Wednesday, May 28, 2026.

The contest took place during April, with the participation of children between 6 and 12 years old. The proposed theme was "Me in my port," and entries were received from Friday, April 10, to Tuesday, April 28.
The three first-place winners were:
Admiral José Ignacio Moreno Díaz, director of the port administration, presented each of the three winners with a bicycle, a participation diploma, and a distinctive ASIPONA coin as a symbol of friendship.
During the ceremony, each winning child explained the message contained in their drawing to Admiral Moreno Díaz.
Admiral Moreno Díaz praised the work of all participants and, while recognizing the winners, advised them to continue dedicating time to art, "which takes people far, as it makes them sensitive and humanistic."
The National Port System Administration of Manzanillo reaffirms its commitment to always contribute to the benefit of Manzanillo in all areas.
