Personnel from the National Port System Administration Manzanillo (ASIPONA), as part of the 'Manzanillo Limpio Contigo' (Manzanillo Clean With You) strategy and in anticipation of the rainy season, carried out a general cleaning of the drains adjacent to the port area this Tuesday.
The work was executed from the "La Negrita" Sports Unit to the "Pez Vela" Road Distributor, addressing six major drains.
From these, waste and sediment were extracted, totaling 35 white bags of leaf litter and weeds.
Four workers and one supervisor participated in the effort, aiming to clear the areas of anything that could obstruct the drains.
These activities are carried out as part of ASIPONA Manzanillo's commitment as an environmentally friendly institution for Manzanillo and for Mexico.
