The National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (SENASA) reminds the fruit production sector in Río Negro and Neuquén that August 31st is the deadline to register or re-register in the National Sanitary Registry of Agricultural Producers (Renspa) and adhere to fresh fruit export programs destined for Brazil, China, Israel, and Canada.
It is essential to complete the registration during August, as starting in September, it will be mandatory to implement and inspect the technical management and phytosanitary pest control measures required by international export protocols. These tasks include the installation of the trapping network for Cydia pomonella (codling moth) and the updating of the Field Notebook, among other aspects.
SENASA reiterates that timely registration ensures that production establishments can comply with inspections and initiate any corrective measures within the established deadlines, thus avoiding problems in the external commercialization of regional fruit production.
In this regard, the Agency recalled the steps to follow to complete the adherence process to the Export Programs and their corresponding work plans:
1. Access the Integrated Fruit Traceability Management System (SIGTRAZA) through the official SENASA website using the ARCA tax ID.
2. Only for fruit destined for export, documentation must be validated by visiting the nearest SENASA office. There, the RENSPA registration and the annexed forms for each program, printed in duplicate, must be presented.
3. Before confirming, any modifications to the planting charts (number of plants, variety variations, distances, etc.) must be verified and declared, as these are crucial data for estimating yield per production unit (UP) and calculating the trapping network.
