The National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (SENASA) and the National Gendarmerie planned joint actions to strengthen controls on agri-food transport on routes in the province of San Luis.
During a meeting held in the city of La Punta (San Luis), authorities from SENASA's La Pampa-San Luis Regional Center and representatives from the National Gendarmerie's Road Safety Section in that locality agreed on action criteria for future joint controls in different parts of San Luis.

At the meeting, both state agencies established strategic control points and unified criteria for the development of activities aimed at controlling the transport of live animals, propagation materials, and food.
The regional director and the technical team from SENASA's La Pampa - San Luis Regional Center, as well as the second commander and representatives of the security force in La Punta, participated in the meeting.

These types of meetings enhance the inspection actions carried out by SENASA in the territory to preserve the country's zoosanitary and phytosanitary status and protect consumer health.
