Coast Guard Participated in the V Extraordinary AMERIPOL Summit

Representing the national Maritime Authority, the Director of Judicial Police, Maritime and Port Protection, Prefect General Luis Alberto Gularte, participated, accompanied by the Head of the Judicial Police Department, Senior Prefect Carlos Eduardo Córdoba. During the day, topics related to strengthening police cooperation and information exchange were addressed, highlighting the implementation of the AMERIPOL Police Information System (SIPA). Among the main decisions, the creation of new specialized centers in asset laundering, smuggling, terrorism, organized crime and high technology, in addition to the CORSEL Network, was emphasized.
