Students toured dependencies of the Force and the facilities of the National Commission for Space Activities (CONAE), with the aim of getting closer to the technical and operational areas linked to their specialty.
During the tour, the future non-commissioned officers visited the Directorate of Informatics and Communications, the Technical and Logistics Department, and the Video and Trunked Communications Department. They also passed through a communications plant.
There, they learned about the operation of the equipment, radial and satellite link systems, and the daily tasks that support strategic telecommunications for navigation control and the safety of human life at sea.
At the CONAE headquarters, an organization with which the national Maritime Authority maintains a strategic cooperation agreement for joint work and continuous training, the delegation delved into the satellite technology tools developed by the space agency. The Coast Guard System uses these tools to optimize the control of maritime spaces and the detection of vessels.
Throughout the activity, the cadets reinforced their learning alongside the technical and professional teams in charge of each area and added practical tools for their comprehensive training.
