The Argentine Naval Prefecture maintains an extensive operation in various riverside towns to provide security and assist affected residents, within the framework of the Plata Basin Coordination Plan 2026/2027 and the Federal Emergency Agency (AFE).
In this context, the procedure was carried out at kilometer 1,234 of the river, where Institution personnel, along with health staff from the local hospital, conducted a health assessment of a woman who was, with her 3-year-old daughter, self-evacuated in the upper part of her home, located in the "Punta Santa Ana" neighborhood.
During the intervention, the medical team indicated her transfer to the urban area for a more complex evaluation, so they proceeded to evacuate them to where an ambulance was waiting to take her to the hospital.
