The Argentine Naval Prefecture carried out a health and social operation in Paraje Isla Soto, in the province of Chaco, where the Force's personnel worked together with professionals from the Provincial Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Federal Emergency Agency (AFE), under the National Ministry of Security.
The deployment, framed within the Cuenca del Plata 2026-2027 coordination plan, aimed to bring health services and assistance to the residents of the island area, who face difficulties in regularly accessing health centers due to distances and the geographical characteristics of the place.
During the day, the Institution's personnel provided logistical, navigation, and security support for the fluvial transfer of the interdisciplinary health team and health resources, ensuring the necessary conditions for the development of tasks in the community.
The intervention of the national Maritime Authority was fundamental in facilitating the access of professionals and resources to a sector where fluvial connectivity is a key tool for reaching the inhabitants.
