Sulnorte announced the arrival of the SN Caraíva, the newest tugboat in its fleet. This incorporation represents another strategic investment in the modernization of assets and the strengthening of operational capacity.
Built by the Rio Maguari Shipyard in Pará, the SN Caraíva is a RAmparts 2300 tugboat, with a static bollard pull capacity of 75+ TBP, designed to offer high performance, efficiency, and high safety standards in port operations.
This marks an important step in Sulnorte's fleet expansion and renewal plan, with the incorporation of a series of three new tugboats into the fleet, SN Cariri, SN Acaraú, and SN Caraíva, and symbolizes the continuous commitment to innovation, reliability, and excellence in service provision, following the evolution of the Brazilian port sector and the needs of our clients.
The christening ceremony was held at the Port of Rio de Janeiro, with financial analyst Alzira Dias as godmother, in a special tribute to more than 30 years of dedication to Sulnorte.
