Modec FPSO Hull Departs Yokosuka for China

Modec announced the completion of the forward section of its FPSO hull at the Sumitomo Heavy Industries shipyard in Yokosuka, Japan, which is now en route to China for integration with the aft section. The platform will have a capacity of 120,000 barrels of oil per day and will be the nineteenth FPSO developed by Modec for Brazil, operated by Shell in the Orca Field.
