Estaleiro Juruá received a visit from the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on an agenda that included the launch of LHG ferries, as well as the ceremony for the start of the first steel plate for the renovation of the Port of Manaus, important advances for the logistical and economic strengthening of the Amazon.
During the visit, the President also met the children of the Chiquinho Camely Institute and the women who are part of the Juruá Group's workforce, reinforcing the importance of inclusion, valuing people, and the social commitment that drives the shipyard's work every day.
Lula's visit comes at an important time for the development of the naval industry and infrastructure in the North of Brazil. "We continue to advance with responsibility, innovation, and commitment to the future of the Amazon," communicated Estaleiro Juruá.
