PortCastelló is facing the final stretch of the year by deploying an intense institutional and commercial agenda that includes more than twenty actions aimed at consolidating the competitiveness of the enclosure, promoting operational innovation, and strengthening its link with the territory. This planning responds to the port's objective of acting as a driving force for the productive fabric of the province, boosting strategic sectors such as ceramics, agri-food, industrial, and cruises.
In the area of business development and international connectivity, PortCastelló will participate in the I Scientific-Technological Congress of Logistics Innovation (LOGISTOP) in Valencia and will also be present at the Fruit Attraction agri-food fair at IFEMA Madrid. The agenda will be completed with the ATC Conferences at PortCastelló's own facilities, the Alia Logistics Summit in Zaragoza, the XXIX International University-Business Tourism Congress, and the commemorative events of the 50th Anniversary of the ATC.
At an international level, the port's projection will be reinforced with attendance at the World Travel Market in London, the International Cruise Summit in Madrid, the LOGITRANS Turkey fair in Istanbul, the Feria Destaca 2026 in Vila-real, the direct Trade Mission to Algeria, and the Cruise Egypt Forum.
In terms of digital transformation, the central milestone will take place on November 5 in the Moll de Costa Hall with the celebration of the III Smart Ports Chair Conference, promoted together with the Smart Ports Chair of the Universitat Jaume I (UJI). The meeting will focus on data governance as a backbone to guarantee the quality, security, and interoperability of information in the logistics chain.
Parallel to economic activity, the Port Authority and its Foundation promote and support various activities such as the XII March Against Breast Cancer 'A Walk for Life', organized by the Le Cadó Foundation.
The president of the Port Authority of Castellón, Rubén Ibáñez, stressed that "this axis-based planning responds to PortCastelló's firm commitment to its environment. We work to strengthen consolidated traffic and capture new business opportunities, but always in parallel with technological innovation and direct social return to the citizens of our province."
