The Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife ( Spain) has elected Enrique García-Arroba as its new director.
According to the Spanish organization, "the nomination proposal, submitted to the highest representative body by Pedro Suárez, received the support of the attending board members, who also expressed their gratitude to Pablo Nieto for his work as director since February 2024."
Furthermore, details of the new director's experience were provided, stating that "García-Arroba is a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds a Master's degree in Ports and Coasts from the University of La Laguna. His training also includes specialized courses in port regulations, operations, services, and strategy, as well as training as a judicial expert in Engineering."
"Since joining the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 2019, specifically in the Infrastructure area, he has participated in project management and construction supervision for nearly twenty projects developed in the province's ports," the publication added.
Finally, it was detailed that "previously, Enrique García-Arroba worked at the FCC Construcción delegation in Tenerife as a site manager, being responsible for projects with a total value exceeding 170 million euros for organizations such as the Government of the Canary Islands, the Canarian Health Service, and the Port Authority itself."
