The Azamara Pursuit made its inaugural visit to Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, marking the first time the port welcomes a peak-season Alaska cruise itinerary. According to the Nanaimo Port Authority, the ship is scheduled to operate a summer season in Alaska offering ten- and 11-night cruises departing from Whittier and Vancouver, before repositioning to Asia in September for fall and winter cruises in the Far East, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
