Meyer Turku confirmed in late April its option to build vessels 6 and 7 for Royal Caribbean Group's Icon Class. Metalcolour has supplied Film Laminated Metal for wet cabins, doors, walls and ceiling panels on every Icon Class vessel built to date, with vessel number 5 expected to enter service in 2028. The Swedish company, a pioneer for over fifty years, offers heat-applied protective film and has reduced minimum order quantities to 10m², the lowest in the industry.
