Mineral bulk, one of the most regular types of cargo at the Port of Manzanillo, registered a growth of 5.7% between January and August 2026, compared to the same period of the previous year.
During the first eight months of 2025, 3,123,143 tons of this type of cargo were moved, while in the same period of 2026, the volume reached 3,301,368 tons.
Thus, mineral bulk added an additional 178,225 tons in the period, consolidating a trend of sustained growth in the port's statistics.
Among the main products moved under this category are iron pellets, mineral fertilizers, and zinc concentrates.
