U-Ming Names First LNG Carrier as Diversification and Expansion Continue
Taiwanese shipping company Un-Ming held a naming ceremony for its first LNG carrier, Diamond Gas Jade, on May 19 at Samsung Heavy Industries' Geoje Shipyard in South Korea. The vessel has a capacity of 174,000 cbm, measures 290 meters, and features dual-fuel ME-GA propulsion with a speed of 19.5 knots. Upon delivery in August, Un-Ming will launch a new joint venture for LNG transport operations as part of its diversification strategy.
