President Mulino Presents Plan to Strengthen Panamanian Flag to Greek Shipowners

Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino met with Greek shipowners to present his country's plan to strengthen the Panamanian flag as a Ship Registry. Mulino highlighted that this group represents about 500 ships under the Panamanian flag and more than 20% of global cargo transport. During the meeting, Canal Minister José Ramón Icaza and Merchant Marine Director Ramón Franco explained actions in ship registration and strategic projects of the National Government and the Panama Canal Authority.
