(12:45 p.m. EDT) — Carnival Cruise Line opened bookings for its 2028-29 West Coast season, sailing aboard Carnival Adventure, Carnival Legend and Carnival Spirit.
The newly released itineraries include Alaska cruises departing from Seattle and San Francisco, Carnival Journeys to Hawaii and the Panama Canal, and a range of Baja Mexico and Mexican Riviera cruises.
Carnival Adventure will offer two Carnival Journeys: a nine-day Alaska voyage departing from Seattle on Sept. 12, 2028, and then a 16-day Hawaii trip sailing Sept. 21.
Similarly, Carnival Legend will operate a 13-day Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing April 28, 2028, and a 15-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruise departing Sept. 14.
Meanwhile, Carnival Spirit will sail a 16-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal cruise departing Tampa on April 16, 2028, followed by a nine-day Carnival Journeys Alaska voyage departing from Seattle on Sept. 14. The ship is scheduled to operate a total of 11 Carnival Journeys Hawaii sailings in 2028-29.
The 2028 Alaska cruises feature a range of options. Carnival Adventure will sail from Seattle between May and September 2028, operating 18 seven-day Alaska Inside Passage & Glacier cruises. Ports of call include Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, with scenic cruising through Endicott Arm Fjord and a call to Victoria, British Columbia.
The Alaska lineup also includes Carnival Legend's 10-day Alaska adventures, sailing from May 15 through Sept. 4, 2028.
Carnival Spirit will kick off its West Coast season with the Carnival Journeys Panama Canal sailing from Tampa, then head to Seattle. The ship will offer 18 seven-day Alaska cruises between May 11 and Sept. 7, 2028.
Spirit will then reposition to Long Beach in October 2028 to operate cruises to Hawaii and Mexico through spring 2029. Itineraries from Long Beach include a mix of three-day Baja Mexico getaways, five-day Mexican Riviera cruises, and select eight-day sailings visiting Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.
Carnival Legend will offer ten Baja Mexico cruises, operating four-day itineraries departing from San Francisco between April and August 2028.
