The terminals that are part of the Port of Manzanillo actively participate in actions aimed at environmental care and conservation, through activities such as reforestation, beach clean-ups, and the recovery of natural spaces, combining efforts for the benefit of the community.
Among these initiatives, the participation of TIMSA-Hutchison Ports stands out, whose collaborators and their families carried out a clean-up day in July at Las Brisas beach and surrounding areas.
84 collaborators participated in the activity, covering 6.5 kilometers of coastline and collecting approximately 54 kilograms of waste, contributing to maintaining this natural space in Manzanillo in better conditions.
These actions add to the efforts made by the different port terminals to contribute to the conservation of green areas, the recovery of spaces, and the care of the municipality's ecosystems, through activities that promote the participation and co-responsibility of the port sector.
The National Port System Administration Manzanillo (ASIPONA Manzanillo) recognizes the participation of the port terminals in these initiatives and highlights the importance of continuing to combine efforts to strengthen environmental care and contribute to improving the conditions of Manzanillo's natural and urban spaces.
