Maersk adjusts inland fuel surcharge in Mexico to 2%
Maersk announced a temporary fuel surcharge adjustment in Mexico due to rising fuel costs stemming from Middle East developments. The inland fuel surcharge will be set at 2% of inland haulage, reviewed monthly, and displayed on invoices as EFS (Export Fuel Surcharge) or IFS (Import Fuel Surcharge). The carrier will continue monitoring market conditions for potential adjustments in subsequent weeks.
