The South Container Terminal, operated by DP World, is consolidating its position as the engine of Peruvian foreign trade thanks to its recent expansion and high operational efficiency.
LIMA, May 13, 2026 – Peru's National Port System is preparing for a historic milestone. The National Port Authority (APN) reported that the South Pier of the Port of Callao is projected to handle over 2 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) by the end of the current year, reaffirming its position as the main logistics hub in the region.
