Neltume Ports Presents USD 900 Million Container Terminal Project in Uruguay
Neltume Ports announced its intention to invest approximately USD 900 million in the development of the Montevideo Container Terminal (MCT), a specialized container terminal presented to the Government of Uruguay for evaluation. The project includes 940 meters of berthing line, 38 hectares of operational area, and a capacity to handle up to 1,150,000 TEU per year. It is estimated that its construction will generate 1,800 jobs.
