Paraguay Opens Market for Chilean Fresh Blueberries
Paraguay has formalized the phytosanitary requirements for importing fresh Chilean blueberries, opening a new market for national exporters. The Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) and the Paraguayan authority agreed on a Risk Mitigation System that establishes control, inspection, and certification measures. The Minister of Agriculture, Jaime Campos, highlighted that this opening expands commercial opportunities and diversifies markets for the Chilean fruit sector in Latin America.
