Brasília, 10/29/2026 – What criteria should be considered to ensure the adequate provision of public waterborne transport services? This discussion is part of Public Consultation SRG No. 05/2026, opened yesterday (28) by the National Waterborne Transport Agency (ANTAQ), to receive contributions from users, sector agents, and other interested parties.
The initiative seeks to gather information, experiences, and suggestions that can contribute to the analysis of adequate service criteria in public waterborne transport, a topic included in Theme 1.4 of the 2025/2028 Regulatory Agenda.
The submissions will be used to support the evaluation of the preliminary Regulatory Impact Analysis (AIR) report, which is under discussion at this stage of the regulatory process.
The deadline for participation is until 11:59 PM on November 27, exclusively through the electronic form provided by the Agency.
How to participate
Contributions must be submitted via the electronic form for Public Consultation SRG No. 05/2026, by the deadline. Submissions sent by other means will not be accepted.
Interested parties may also send digital images, such as maps, plans, and photographs, to the email srg@antaq.gov.br, provided they are properly identified and respect the established deadline. The content of the contribution, however, must be filled out in the electronic form.
Received submissions will be made available on the ANTAQ portal.
Webinar
To present the topic and clarify doubts for interested parties, ANTAQ will hold a webinar on November 18, at 10 AM (Brasília time), with live transmission via the Agency's official YouTube channel.
During the meeting, aspects related to the preliminary AIR report and adequate service criteria in public waterborne transport will be discussed.
Participants can submit questions via WhatsApp (61) 2029-6515.
