Lyttelton to Invest USD 482 Million in Wharf and Container Terminal Expansion
Lyttelton Port Company will invest USD 482 million in the development of the Te Awaparahi Bay wharf and container terminal. The project includes the construction of a 388-meter deep-water wharf, a 5-hectare terminal, and four new gantry cranes. Once completed in 2031, the port will have an annual capacity of approximately 850,000 TEU.
