CMA CGM NOTRE DAME arrives at Hamburg as Europe's largest flagged containership
The CMA CGM NOTRE DAME, a 24,212-TEU LNG-powered containership registered under the French flag, arrived at EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg on July 14, 2026, during her maiden voyage between Asia and Europe. Commissioned in May 2026, the vessel completed her first bio-LNG bunkering operation in Rotterdam, receiving 11,125 m³ of bio-LNG, which can reduce lifecycle CO₂ emissions by up to 67% compared with conventional marine fuels. The arrival marks CMA CGM's strategic commitment to Hamburg and reflects the Group's planned 20% stake acquisition in EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg.
