New York Harbor hosted more than 40 tall ships on July 4, 2026, during the Sail 250 Parade of Ships celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary. The event featured vessels from more than 20 nations, including Ecuador's BAE Guayas and Peru's BAP Union. The US contributed three tall ships, including the US Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, a 295-foot barque used to train cadets since 1946. Ships remain docked for free tours through July 7.
