North Sea Port: Pilots' Strike Reaches Ninth Day with 17 Vessels Affected
Disruptions to maritime traffic at North Sea Port have entered their ninth day due to protests by pilots who are demonstrating against the potential entry of the private sector. According to the transnational Netherlands-Belgium facility, 8 vessels remain unable to depart and 6 ships have been unable to enter, totaling 17 affected vessels. The demonstrations are concentrated at the Belgian substation in Ghent.
