ICTSI Challenges Costa Rica's Port Concession Awarded to Maersk and Hapag
ICTSI (International Container Terminal Services) filed a challenge to Costa Rica's port concession tender awarded to a Maersk-Hapag coalition. The Comptroller General of Costa Rica accepted both appeals on Tuesday and will review the process. ICTSI alleges improper disqualification, claiming criteria were changed and the process lacked transparency. The current concession expires August 11, 2026, with a 40 business day deadline for resolution.
