Four Fertilizer Vessels Cross the Strait of Hormuz Towards India
Four vessels loaded with urea, diammonium phosphate (DAP), and sulfur crossed the Strait of Hormuz and are heading to the maritime terminals of Krishnapatnam, Kakinada, Paradeep, and Mundra in India. With this arrival, the Asian country's accumulated fertilizer reserves reach 19.6 million metric tons. India has already imported 5 million tons of agricultural nutrients in the current summer cropping season.
