Battery systems contract awarded for 15 river cruise vessels
EST-Floattech secured a contract to supply Octopus High Energy battery systems for 15 river cruise vessels being outfitted at De Gerlien van Tiem in Druten and Vahali Shipyards in Ghent. Each vessel will be equipped with 650 kWh of battery capacity, totaling 9.7 MWh. The vessels will serve operators including AmaWaterways and Uniworld on the Danube and Black Sea region, with deliveries scheduled through 2030.
