Paita Port Terminal Reaches Historic Record, Exceeding 3.4 Million Tons of Cargo
In 2025, the Paita Port Terminal achieved a historic record by mobilizing over 3,439,718 tons of cargo, 414,639 TEUs, and 669 vessels. Minister Aldo Prieto supervised the progress of the port's development, which includes an investment plan of USD 311 million. The terminal ranks first nationally in refrigerated containers and is consolidating its position as the main logistics hub in northern Peru.
