Concordia Damen to build two river cruise ships for TUI River Cruises
TUI River Cruises contracted Dutch shipyard Concordia Damen to build two river cruise vessels as part of its fleet expansion programme, growing from six to 10 ships by 2028. Each newbuild will feature 94 cabins with 188 passenger capacity and methanol-ready design, with delivery expected in 2028. The announcement coincided with the naming of TUI Aria in Frankfurt, the largest capacity refurbished ship joining the European fleet.
