APN strengthens port protection and security with over 200 inspections carried out nationwide in 2026
The National Port Authority (APN) conducted 211 inspections of port facilities in various regions of the country during the first five months of 2026. The inspections included 170 operational actions aimed at verifying compliance with port security and protection regulations, in addition to 41 specialized audits at maritime and fluvial terminals located in Salaverry, Pisco, Chancay, Matarani, Iquitos, Ilo, and Yurimaguas, among others.
